Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM)

About the Role

Healogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, treating more than 300,000 chronic wound patients annually across over 600 sites. The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) is responsible for coordinating clinical activities of the Wound Care Center, including patient care assessment, planning, implementation, and quality improvement. This position collaborates with the Program Director and Medical Director to meet program objectives, ensure optimal healing outcomes, and enhance patient satisfaction.

All clinicians must perform their responsibilities according to Healogics policies, hospital policies, accrediting organizations, federal and state regulations, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in all responsibilities related to case management, including assessments, clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments, and patient/caregiver education.
• Organize and prioritize clinical responsibilities, providing oversight to clinical staff such as RNs, LPNs/LVNs, CMAs, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, hospital personnel, Wound Care Center Providers, Program Director, and Medical Director regarding clinical and patient needs.
• Identify and implement process improvements while complying with HIPAA, Department of Health (DOH), hospital, and Healogics requirements.
• Engage in staff development, including in-services, individual instruction, orientation, and providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with the Program Director on budgetary and financial aspects of program objectives.
• Coordinate vein clinic and assist in providing care if the program offers Vein Care services (after completing Healogics Vein Clinic training).
• Work with the Program Director and Medical Director to achieve Wound Care Center quality indicators.
• May function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) in accordance with Healogics and hospital policies.
• Perform hyperbaric safety director duties after completing required training; may act as a chamber operator or emergency chamber operator.
• Perform patient care based on Center staffing needs.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Current RN (Registered Nurse) license, maintained throughout employment.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• One year of experience as an RN required; two or more years preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Wound care certification preferred.

Pay

The salary for this position generally ranges between $78,900.00 and $106,300.00 annually. This range is an estimate based on qualifications such as education, experience, geography, and operational needs.
