About the role

Healogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, treating more than 300,000 chronic wound patients annually across over 600 sites. The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) coordinates clinical activities of the Wound Care Center, working with the Program Director and Medical Director to meet program objectives, ensure optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction, and comply with Healogics policies, hospital policies, accrediting organizations, federal and state regulations, and CMS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in all responsibilities related to Case Management; may provide case management to a group of patients with specific assessments per protocols.
• Clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments, and patient/caregiver education related to wound care management.
• Organizes and prioritizes clinical responsibilities; provides clinical oversight to clinical staff (RNs, LPNs/LVNs, CMAs, Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians, etc.).
• Collaborates with other health care providers, key hospital personnel, Wound Care Center Providers, Program Director, and Medical Director regarding clinical and patient needs
