About the role
A Client Care Specialist 2 (CCS2) contributes to AHF by presenting a friendly, helpful face to members seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment in our Wellness Clinics/Programs. A CCS2 is a hybrid role providing courteous, confidential, and professional support to members within wellness programs. The role enhances AHF’s reputation by embodying our commitment to excellence in patient care, patient retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability.
With a versatile skill set and dedication to seamlessly transitioning between clinical, administrative, and front office roles, CCS2s contribute to a positive experience, fostering trust and loyalty. AHF operates in a dynamic environment with a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The CCS2 will work as part of a close-knit team to focus on comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Collect medical histories, manage tests/screenings, record vitals, and address health complaints.
- Facilitate patient registration, appointment management, and electronic chart creation.
- Perform data documentation, including referrals and reports.
- Conduct venipuncture and sample collection (e.g., blood and other specimens) and prepare them for laboratory analysis.
Requirements
- Valid Phlebotomy license (per State requirement) or Medical Assistant (MA) Diploma.
- Proficiency in venipuncture and sample collection.
