About the role
A Client Care Specialist (CCS2) contributes to AHF's mission by presenting a friendly, helpful face to patients seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment in our Clinics and Fixed Site locations. A CCS2 is a hybrid role providing courteous, confidential, and professional support to clients within testing programs. This role enhances the reputation of AHF by embodying our commitment to excellence in patient care, patient retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability.

Responsibilities
- Provide courteous, confidential, and professional support to clients within testing programs.
- Collect medical histories, manage tests/screenings, record vitals, and address health complaints.
- Facilitate patient registration, appointment management, and electronic chart creation.
- Perform data documentation, including referrals and reports.
- Conduct venipuncture and sample collection (e.g., blood and other specimens) and prepare them for laboratory analysis.
- Work as part of a close-knit team to focus on comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Valid phlebotomy license or medical assistant certificate.
- Proficiency in venipuncture and sample collection.
