A Client Care Specialist 2 (CCS2) contributes to AHF by embodying our commitment to excellence in patient care and operational efficiency. Through cross-functionality, CCS2s play a pivotal role in ensuring that our combined healthcare and wellness center operates seamlessly and that our patients receive the best client experience and the highest standard of care. CCS2s enhance AHF’s reputation by demonstrating adaptability, a versatile skill set, and dedication to transitioning between clinical, HIV/STD testing, administrative, and front-office roles, fostering trust and loyalty among patients. You will serve as a passionate advocate for AHF’s top initiatives while keeping the organization’s core values and mission central to all tasks.
AHF operates in a dynamic, collaborative environment where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. As part of a close-knit team, the CCS2 will go above and beyond to meet patient needs by performing medical-assistant clinical functions—including phlebotomy and HIV/STD testing—and administrative duties such as front-office tasks, processing patient referrals, and verifying insurance coverage. Cross-functional rotations will develop your skills across multiple healthcare and wellness functions, reinforcing AHF’s reputation as a trusted provider of compassionate, high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical functions, including phlebotomy and HIV/STD testing.
- Handle front-office and administrative duties, such as processing patient referrals and verifying insurance coverage.
- Seamlessly transition between clinical, testing, and administrative roles to support operational efficiency.
- Actively participate in cross-functional rotations to develop skills across multiple healthcare and wellness center functions.
- Collaborate with other AHF employees and departments to uphold the organization’s mission and values.
- Advocate for AHF’s top initiatives while maintaining a focus on patient care and retention.
- Adapt to a dynamic environment and contribute to a positive patient experience and workplace culture.
Requirements
- Valid Medical Assistant Certificate or Diploma; national MA licenses preferred.
