About the role

A Civil Trial Attorney - Medical Malpractice/Nursing Home Negligence position is available in our Greenville office. Ideal candidates will have at least three (3) years of experience in this field.

Responsibilities

• Defend doctors, hospitals, long-term care facilities, dentists, and other health professionals in civil trials related to medical malpractice and nursing home negligence
• Advise clients on legal strategies and potential outcomes
• Prepare and present evidence in court
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive defense strategies

Requirements

• At least three (3) years of experience practicing in medical malpractice and nursing home negligence cases
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in South Carolina and/or Georgia
• Passion for defending healthcare professionals and institutions
• Experience with medical records review and expert witness testimony

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
