About the role
A Civil Trial Attorney - Medical Malpractice/Nursing Home Negligence position is available in our Columbia office. Ideal candidates will have at least three (3) years of experience in this field.
Responsibilities
- Defending doctors, hospitals, long-term care facilities, dentists, and other health professionals in civil trials
- Handling complex medical malpractice and nursing home negligence cases
- Providing legal representation in court and out-of-court negotiations
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive legal services
Requirements
- At least three (3) years of experience practicing in medical malpractice and nursing home negligence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Qualifications
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in South Carolina and Georgia
- Passion for healthcare law and a commitment to excellence
