AdvisaCare Hospice is always looking for compassionate and dependable people to be there for our hospice patients. It's time to make a difference in this world. AdvisaCare Hospice serves patients in Chesaning, MI. No healthcare experience needed. Must be 18+. Volunteer opportunities are available near you. Hospice does not accept court‑ordered service hours.

Responsibilities

• Sitting Bedside with Hospice Patients in Nursing Facilities
• Providing Caregiver Relief inside Private Residences
• Pet Therapy (already licensed dogs) to visit with patients
• Play the Guitar Bedside of hospice patients
• Bereavement Volunteer Support Calls to Family & Assisting with Grief Groups
• Pre-Med Students who want to learn about gerontology patient care
• Grief Support (Remote)

Requirements

Willing to submit TB and Drug Tests and to be Fingerprinted.
