About the role
This role involves coordinating and providing high-quality nursing care across various patient populations, from birth through adulthood, in a well-established facility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical care based on census needs
- Communicate patient and departmental issues
- Serve as a resource to staff
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Ensure safety and promote health
- Practice ethically and inclusively
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Preference for a Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 1 year of hospital nursing experience
Licenses and certifications
- Active RN license
- BCLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Chemotherapy/biotherapy certification
- NRP
- Additional specialty certifications depending on the unit
- Specialized certifications such as PEARS, TNCC, ENPC, and fetal monitoring required for specific units, with timeframes for obtaining them
