Charge RN - MedSurg, Nights

Role Overview: This nursing position involves providing quality patient care across all age groups, managing operational issues during shifts, and serving as a resource for staff guidance and assistance. Key Responsibilities Coordinate delivery of nursing care and address operational issues during shifts.Communicate patient care updates, departmental concerns, and staff issues to leadership.Provide clinical care as needed based on census demands.Support and guide nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from a nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.Current RN licensure in Georgia or multistate license.Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, and NRP (for Women’s Services).Additional specialty certifications such as AWHONN Fetal Monitoring and PEARS required.Emergency Department nurses must obtain PALS within 30 days if not already certified.Strong communication, clinical, and leadership skills essential.
