Charge Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation

Position Overview: Responsible for coordinating departmental functions within a rehabilitation clinic unit, including scheduling, staff management, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Patient Care: Provides and supervises patient care according to standards, delegating tasks to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs based on patient needs and staff competencies.Staff Management & Development: Manages daily staffing, assists with orientation and competency assessments, and mentors team members.Customer Service: Ensures professional conduct, tracks performance, and addresses service issues.Key Skills: Excellent communication, ability to manage change, and decision-making skills in high-stress situations. Qualifications Registered Nurse license in the state, with at least two years of relevant clinical experience.Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, Wound Care).Preferred: BSN, management experience, and specialty certifications. Responsibilities include: Developing care plans, mentoring staff, managing unit activities, and ensuring quality patient care and customer satisfaction.
