Position Overview: Responsible for coordinating departmental functions within a rehabilitation unit, including staffing, patient care, and regulatory compliance. Acts as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring excellent patient and customer service. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care following established standards; supervise and delegate tasks to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs based on patient needs and staff competencies.Manage staffing, schedule daily activities, and assist with staff orientation and competency assessments.Develop and implement plans to meet regulatory requirements and improve departmental processes.Maintain effective communication with customers and address service issues proactively.Train, mentor, and support staff to foster professional growth and team efficiency. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse license in the relevant state; CPR and other certifications as required by specialty area.Minimum of two years of relevant clinical nursing experience; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to make independent decisions in high-pressure situations; capable of implementing change and managing departmental budgets. Specialized Certifications: Advanced Fetal Monitoring, NICU experience, Wound Care, Bariatrics, ACLS, PALS, NRP, or other relevant certifications depending on the department.
