Charge Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

The role involves coordinating and managing activities within the Emergency Department as a Charge Nurse (RN). Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, supervising and delegating tasks to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, the Charge Nurse oversees staffing, schedules daily activities, and assists with staff orientation and training. Qualifications include a nursing degree from an accredited school, a valid RN license in the state, and at least two years of relevant clinical experience, with specialized certifications depending on the department. Preferred candidates possess a BSN, management experience, and certifications in specialty areas such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP.
