Charge Nurse - MedSurg, Surgical/Neuro, Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide holistic, patient-centered care in a dynamic acute care setting. The role involves managing post-surgical patients (general surgery, hysterectomies), as well as those with neuro diagnoses such as TIA, stroke, and seizures. You will utilize bedside documentation devices, participate in tele-neuro consults, and ensure exceptional patient outcomes. Opportunities for clinical research involvement and working with state-of-the-art technology are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, patient-centered care in an acute care environment
• Manage post-surgical patients, including general surgery and hysterectomies
• Care for patients with neuro diagnoses such as TIA, stroke, and seizures
• Utilize bedside documentation devices for accurate record-keeping
• Participate in tele-neuro consults to support patient care
• Engage in clinical research and work with state-of-the-art technology

Requirements

• Current Georgia RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Qualifications

• Nursing degree (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred)
• Additional nursing experience (preferred)
• Specialty certifications (preferred)
