Charge Nurse - MedSurg, Neuro, Nights

Role: Provides comprehensive nursing care for patients across all age groups, ensuring quality and safety during each shift. Acts as a resource for staff, communicates patient and departmental updates, and coordinates care delivery. Responsibilities: Coordinates nursing services, delivers clinical care as needed, and addresses operational issues. Collaborates with team members to promote health and safety, evaluates patient progress, and practices ethically with a focus on diversity and inclusion. Qualifications: Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, with a preference for a Bachelor's Degree. Must have at least 1 year of hospital nursing experience, with 2+ preferred. Must hold a valid Georgia RN license and BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS, and specialty certifications relevant to the unit. Skills & Certifications: Strong clinical judgment, effective communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Must obtain and maintain necessary certifications within specified timeframes, including certifications for emergency, cardiac, pediatric, infusion, oncology, surgical, and women's services nursing.
