Charge Nurse - Med Surg, Neuro, Nights

About the Role

Coordinates the delivery of high-quality nursing care across all patient ages, manages operational issues during shifts, and provides clinical care as needed based on census demands.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care and departmental operations
• Communicate patient, staff, and operational concerns to leadership
• Serve as a resource and guide for nursing staff

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred
• Current Registered Nurse license in Georgia or NLC/eNLC multistate license
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS, and specialized certifications as appropriate
• Additional certifications may be required based on unit specialization (e.g., Labor and Delivery, Emergency Department, Pediatric care)
