About the role
The RN is responsible for providing holistic, patient-centered care in a specialized Surgery and Neuro unit. This includes managing post-surgical patients, neuro diagnoses such as TIA, stroke, and seizures, and addressing general acute care needs.
Responsibilities
- Utilize bedside documentation devices and collaborate with Tele Neuro consults and rounding teams.
- Ensure optimal patient outcomes through coordinated care and clinical expertise.
- Participate in clinical research and utilize state-of-the-art technology to enhance patient services.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program with a current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
- Minimum of one year hospital nursing experience; two or more years preferred.
- BLS certification required; additional certifications or a bachelor’s degree are advantageous.
- Demonstrated clinical competency and specialty certification if applicable.
Work environment
Work within a newly remodeled space with bedside documentation, on the same floor as the Surgery Department, in a collaborative environment that values diversity and professional growth.
