Charge Nurse - Medical Surgical, Night Shift

About the role

Coordinate and deliver high-quality nursing care across various patient populations, from birth through adulthood, while managing operational issues during shifts. Serve as a resource for staff guidance, communicate patient care and departmental concerns to leadership, and provide clinical care as needed based on census demands.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's preferred)
• At least 1 year of hospital nursing experience (2+ years preferred)
• Active RN license in Georgia or multistate license
• BCLS certification
• Advanced certifications relevant to the specialty area, including ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, and PEARS
• Additional certifications such as AWHONN Fetal Monitoring and PALS for pediatric care may be required
