Charge Nurse - Medical Surgical, Night Shift

About the Role

Provide high-quality nursing care across different patient age groups, managing clinical duties and operational issues during shifts. Act as a resource for staff guidance, communicate patient and departmental concerns, and ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care from birth through all stages of life.
• Assist with clinical duties as needed based on patient census.
• Ensure effective communication regarding patient care, staff, and departmental issues.
• Serve as a resource and support for nursing staff to maintain quality care and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Valid Georgia RN license or multistate licensure.

Qualifications

• Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, chemotherapy/biotherapy, NRP, PEARS, and specialized fetal monitoring training within specified timeframes.
