Responsibilities
- Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures.
- Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it.
- Administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
- Provides direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited RCIS program or graduate of an accredited program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging, or exercise physiology. Required.
Work Experience: 1 year Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience Required or no experience required if a graduate of an RCIS program.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Based on healthcare experience (see above), applicable license. Upon Hire Required.
- RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (if a graduate of RCIS program) within 2 Years Required.
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required.
- RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required.
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.
- ACLS Upon Hire Required.
