About the role
Join HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital as a Cath Lab Tech PRN and be part of a team that delivers advanced cardiac care. You’ll work alongside physicians and colleagues in a state-of-the-art cath lab, supporting lifesaving procedures while balancing work and life with strong team support.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
- Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
- Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
- Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
- Safeguard a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Sonography, Respiratory Therapy, LPN, Surgical Tech, or Paramedic program
- Must have one of the following credentials: ARRT-R (Radiography), CCT (Certified Cardiographic Technician), RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer), State Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist, LPN, Certified Surgical Technologist, or State Paramedic Certification
- RCIS or ARRT must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
