Cath Lab Tech PRN
Job Summary

In this role, you’ll stand alongside physicians and colleagues to deliver advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures. Responsibilities
- Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
- Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
- Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
- Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
- Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient
Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Vocational School Graduate
- Must have one of the following credentials: (ARRT-R) Radiography, (CCT) Certified Cardiographic Technician, (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, State Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist, LPN, Certified Surgical Technologist, or State Paramedic Certification
- RCIS or ARRT - Must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
- High School Graduate / GED

About the Role
HCA Florida University Hospital, a 165-bed hospital serving Davie and the surrounding communities in Broward County, FL, opened in 2021. We have 600 colleagues and over 750 physicians, offering a full range of healthcare services including a 24/7 emergency department, maternity and orthopedics, oncology, neurosciences, diagnostic services, robotic and minimally invasive surgical services, and all private patient rooms.
