Overview
Location: Piedmont Newnan Cath Lab
Shift: PRN as needed
Responsibilities
- Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures
- Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it
- Administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures
- Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program OR Graduate of an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program OR Graduate of an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) program
- Work Experience: 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience
- Licenses and Certifications (upon hire):
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure OR RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist OR RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS
