Responsibilities

• Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures.
• Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab equipment and maintenance of it.
• Administers direct and indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
• Provides direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RCIS program Required
• OR Graduate of an accredited program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging, or exercise physiology Required

Qualifications

• 1 year of Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience Required
• OR No experience required if a graduate of an RCIS program Required

Skills

• Based on healthcare experience (see above), applicable license Upon Hire Required
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (if a graduate of RCIS program, RCIS within 2 years) Required
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required
• RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
