About the role
The Catering Manager coordinates and communicates details for sales groups, weddings, and social events, regarding hotel guestrooms, catering services, food and beverage, and banquet facilities, while maximizing total rooms, food, beverage, and meeting room rental revenues and profits, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities

- Maximizes total rooms, food, beverage, and meeting room rental revenues and profits.
- Ensures guest satisfaction.
- Builds strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- College degree in hospitality, business, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- A minimum of two years in sales or event management with one year in F&B or luxury hospitality related work experience.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal departments.
- Hightly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
- Prior experience in high-volume and luxury environments.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and or holidays as the business requires.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Occasionally assists in breaking down to set up of banquet space, or assists in food service as needed, requiring lifting of up to 50 pounds.
