Catering Manager

About the role

The Catering Services Manager oversees all catering solutions and special events at the location, leading the catering team to meet customer expectations and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized catering solutions and maintain client rapport
• Plan and execute events with consistency and quality
• Assist clients in event planning and offer creative solutions
• Train and lead catering staff to ensure standards and quality assurance
• Manage delivery of food, setup, staffing, and event management
• Ensure accurate reporting of revenue, expenses, and receivables
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members
• Maintain compliance with safety policies
• Achieve food and labor targets

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience; management or supervisory experience preferred
• Background in events, hospitality, or catering preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work event-based hours
• Certifications in food handling and alcohol service as needed
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb., stand for extended periods, and operate a vehicle
