Responsibilities

  • Prepares contracts for private functions using established costs.
  • Orders flowers, decorations, and other event-related items.
  • Analyzes requirements of the occasion and recommends suitable services, menus, and beverage items.
  • Coordinates with club manager, food service staff, and patrons.
  • Draws up contracts committing to requested functions.
  • Prepares all related invitation orders, party work sheets, and contracts.
  • Assists patrons with time schedules for weddings and other formal functions.
  • Serves as a technical advisor on correct protocol procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
  • Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks, including a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • This is a 7-day operation; work schedule will vary based on the needs of the activity. Nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

Resumes must be two pages (or less) and should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities as they pertain to this position.

  • One year of specialized work experience that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of this position or education leading to a bachelor's degree directly related to the duties to be performed.
  • Must possess exceptional communication and people skills in customer service and problem resolution.

Pay

This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
