BUSINESS TAXES SPECIALIST III, BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
About the role
This position is located at the Sacramento Headquarters Office at the May Lee State Office Complex. Under the general supervision of the Chief Deputy Director, the Business Taxes Specialist III serves as the highest-level technical resource on matters concerning Business Tax and Fee policy issues.
Responsibilities
- Analyze legislation and evaluate and develop tax policies and procedures for handling unprecedented tax issues.
- Develop tax policy for specific industries.
- Oversee enterprise-wide projects and strategic initiatives on behalf of the Chief Deputy Director.
- Coordinate assignment tracking and follow-ups on behalf of the Chief Deputy Director and serve as liaison as directed.
Requirements

$9,751.00 - $11,625.00 per Month
Schedule
Standard office environment with occasional travel to Sacramento Headquarters Office at the May Lee State Office Complex.
