Bridge Repair Assistant (Region 9)

Responsibilities

• Perform masonry and carpentry tasks under supervision
• Operate equipment and perform sandblasting and welding
• Use various materials and manage traffic control
• Conduct snow and ice operations in assigned areas
• Report to work within one hour of call-up

Requirements

• Two years of experience in maintenance or mechanical work under a skilled tradesman’s supervision, or completion of a technical course in a bridge or technical trade at a recognized school or institute
• Possession of a Class B Commercial Driver License

Pay

Starting salary: $55,905 (base salary of $46,905 plus a $9,000 geographic pay differential for this title and location).
