Bridge Repair Assistant 1 Trainee 2/ Trainee 1 (Region 9)

Responsibilities

• Masonry
• Carpentry
• Equipment operation
• Sandblasting
• Welding
• Use of other materials
• Traffic control
• Perform snow and ice operations in areas other than work location
• Report within a maximum of one hour of call up

Qualifications

• Journey Level: Two years’ experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled tradesman, or training through completion of a technical course in a bridge or technical trade at a school or institute.
• Must have a Class B Commercial Driver License.
• Trainee 2: Commercial Driver's License, and more than one year but less than two years of qualifying experience (as described in journey level quals).
• Trainee 1: Class D Motor Vehicle License, and less than one year of qualifying experience (as described in journey level quals).

Requirements

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Cannabis use is not permitted for employees in this title; cannabis use will be tested for during the pre-employment screening process and may be the basis for disqualification or removal from employment.

Pay

The starting salary for Bridge Repair Assistant is $55,905, comprised of a base salary of $46,905 plus a geographic pay differential of $9,000.

The starting salary for Bridge Repair Assistant Trainee 1 is $48,855, comprised of a base salary of $39,855 plus a geographic pay differential of $9,000.

The starting salary for Bridge Repair Assistant Trainee 2 is $51,058, comprised of a base salary of $42,058 plus a geographic pay differential of $9,000.
