Bridge Repair Assistant 1 Trainee 2/ Trainee 1 (Region 9)

About the Role

Bridge Repair Assistants perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks under the supervision of a Trade Specialist Bridge. Duties may require reporting within one hour of call-up and performing snow and ice operations in locations other than the primary work site.

• Use of various materials
• Traffic control
• Snow and ice operations

Requirements

• Journey Level: Two years’ experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled tradesman, or completion of a technical course in a bridge or technical trade at a school or institute. Requires a Class B Commercial Driver License.
• Trainee 2: Commercial Driver’s License and more than one year but less than two years of qualifying experience.
• Trainee 1: Class D Motor Vehicle License and less than one year of qualifying experience.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Pay

• Bridge Repair Assistant: $55,905 (Base: $46,905 + $9,000 geographic pay differential)
• Bridge Repair Assistant Trainee 2: $51,058 (Base: $42,058 + $9,000 geographic pay differential)
• Bridge Repair Assistant Trainee 1: $48,855 (Base: $39,855 + $9,000 geographic pay differential)
