Bridge Repair Assistant/ Trainee 2/Trainee 1 (Region 9)

Responsibilities

• Perform masonry and carpentry tasks under supervision
• Operate equipment and perform sandblasting and welding
• Use various materials and manage traffic control
• Conduct snow and ice operations in assigned areas
• Report to work within one hour of call-up

Requirements

• Journey Level: Two years’ experience in maintenance or mechanical work under a skilled tradesman, or completion of a technical course in bridge or technical trade at a school/institute
• Trainee 2: Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) with more than one but less than two years of qualifying experience
• Trainee 1: Class D Motor Vehicle License with less than one year of qualifying experience
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Cannabis use is prohibited and will be tested during pre-employment screening

Pay

• Bridge Repair Assistant (Journey Level): $55,905 (base $40,905 + $9,000 geographic pay differential)
• Bridge Repair Assistant Trainee 2: $49,833 (base $40,833 + $9,000 geographic pay differential)
• Bridge Repair Assistant Trainee 1: $48,855 (base $39,855 + $9,000 geographic pay differential)
