Bridge Repair Assistant (Region 9)

Responsibilities

• Perform masonry, carpentry, and equipment operation under supervision
• Conduct sandblasting, welding, and use of other materials
• Implement traffic control measures
• Assist in snow and ice operations outside the primary work location
• Respond to call-ups within a maximum of one hour

Requirements

• Journey Level: Two years’ experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled tradesman, or completion of a technical course in a bridge or technical trade at a school or institute
• Class B Commercial Driver License
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Must pass pre-employment screening for cannabis use (not permitted for this role)
• Must provide proof of citizenship or legal right to work in the United States upon appointment

Pay

Starting salary: $55,905 (base salary of $46,905 plus a $9,000 geographic pay differential for this title and location).
