Bookkeeper

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring invoices, payments, and records are processed accurately and on time.
• Reconcile inventory transactions by comparing vendor invoices with received goods and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate financial data in QuickBooks and support consistent recordkeeping across accounting functions.
• Perform routine bank and account reconciliations to confirm balances and identify any irregularities.
• Review financial documentation for completeness and accuracy before posting transactions to the appropriate accounts.
• Aid with customer billing questions and provide attentive support related to account status, payments, and documentation.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of bookkeeping or related accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping practices.
• Hands-on experience using QuickBooks in a business environment.
• Ability to complete bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify invoices against inventory receipts.
• Comfortable learning and using accounting and business software tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
