About the role
The Billing and Collections Coordinator supports O’Melveny & Myers LLP's Finance department. This position is based in any of the firm's West Coast offices.
Responsibilities
- Review and Maintenance of Billing Memos
- Prepare the LEDES file for submission to the client
- Coordinate and resolve E-billing issues for assigned clients
- Manage the collection process for all assigned clients
Requirements
- Prior billing experience, preferably in a law firm environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
- Highly motivated with an exemplary customer service mindset
- Strong technical proficiency required, including high-level Excel skills, experience with third-party E-billing software, and an ability to leverage technology in work processes
- Flexible and committed to quality, customer service, teamwork, and supporting Firm and department goals in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- A college degree is preferred; college courses in accounting, business or related field are a plus
Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel
- Work effectively under pressure

Pay
The salary range in CA for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 and represents the firm’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
