About the role
The Billing and Collections Coordinator supports O’Melveny & Myers LLP's Finance department. This role is based in any of our West Coast offices.
Responsibilities
- Review and Maintenance of Billing Memos
- Prepare the LEDES file for submission to the client
- Celebrate electronic billing
- Manage the collection process for all assigned clients
Requirements
- Prior billing experience, preferably in a law firm environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
- Highly motivated with an exemplary customer service mindset
- Strong technical proficiency required, including high-level Excel skills, experience with third-party E-billing software, and an ability to leverage technology in work processes
- Highest level of flexibility, and commitment to quality, customer service, teamwork and supporting Firm and department goals in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- A college degree is preferred; college courses in accounting, business or related field are a plus

- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel and work effectively under pressure
