About the role

The Billing and Collections Coordinator supports O’Melveny & Myers LLP's Finance department. This role is based in any of our West Coast offices.

Responsibilities

  • Review and Maintenance of Billing Memos
  • Prepare the LEDES file for submission to the client
  • Celebrate electronic billing
  • Manage the collection process for all assigned clients

Requirements

  • Prior billing experience, preferably in a law firm environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Highly motivated with an exemplary customer service mindset
  • Strong technical proficiency required, including high-level Excel skills, experience with third-party E-billing software, and an ability to leverage technology in work processes
  • Highest level of flexibility, and commitment to quality, customer service, teamwork and supporting Firm and department goals in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • A college degree is preferred; college courses in accounting, business or related field are a plus

Skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel and work effectively under pressure
