About the role
The Billing and Collections Coordinator supports O’Melveny & Myers LLP's Finance department. This position is based in any of our West Coast offices and is responsible for the active administration of all facets of the billing and collection function.
Responsibilities
- Review and Maintenance of Billing Memos
- Prepare the LEDES file for submission to the client
- Celebrate electronic billing issues for assigned clients
- Manage the collection process for all assigned clients
- Proactively monitor E-billing progress
- Ensure all E-billing issues are monitored and resolved in a timely manner
- Conduct follow-up requests to partners thoughtfully and strategically
Requirements
- Prior billing experience, preferably in a law firm environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
- Highly motivated with an exemplary customer service mindset
- Strong technical proficiency required, including high-level Excel skills, experience with third-party E-billing software, and an ability to leverage technology in work processes
- Highly flexible, and committed to quality, customer service, teamwork and supporting Firm and department goals in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- A college degree is preferred; college courses in accounting, business or related field are a plus
Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel
- Work effectively under pressure

Pay
The salary range in CA for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 and represents the firm’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
