AVP, Patient Access & Pre-Access (80% travel)

For our client, we are seeking a AVP, Patient Access & Pre-Access (80% travel) to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This leadership role will oversee Patient Access and Pre-Access operations with a focus on service excellence, team performance, and strategic transformation. The position is responsible for modernizing access workflows, strengthening client and patient experiences, and driving adoption of new technologies and creative processes. It will also partner closely with leaders across the organization to improve employee engagement, operational consistency, and overall care access outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $111,800 – $160,000 annually Responsibilities Enhance client, patient, and colleague experiences by prioritizing their needs Drive innovation through the adoption of new technologies and creative processes Execute operations at a high standard reflecting organizational principles Lead and oversee all Patient Access functions and relationships Modernize Patient Access through strategic goal setting and technology implementation Develop effective communication strategies to boost employee engagement Manage staffing, performance evaluation, and team collaboration Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience Over 5 years in Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, or Pre-Access in a healthcare setting 5+ years in a leadership role Experience managing multiple large health systems, preferably acute care Proven track record in implementing strategic initiatives Advanced knowledge of AI and its business applications Strong executive presence and communication skills Benefits Comprehensive communication strategy enhancing employee productivity and morale Opportunities for staff engagement and continuous education Support for certification and professional development Flexibility to travel while working remotely Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
