Automotive Special Finance Manager

About the role

South Shore Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a Subprime/Special Finance Manager to assist customers with "less than perfect" credit in purchasing a new or used car. This role is separate from the current sales operations and focuses on direct customer contact to develop relationships and enhance the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers to secure financing for potential car deals.
• Present qualified vehicles to customers and assist in the sales process.
• Accurately submit deals for approval.
• Provide excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Follow all company policies to ensure compliance and error-free transactions.
• Work independently and be self-motivated with a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Previous experience in sub-prime lending and automobile special finance.
• A proven track record in managing an automobile subprime department.
• A strong work ethic, including telephone and customer handling skills.
• Strong follow-up skills and a positive attitude.
• A professional, well-groomed appearance.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
