Automotive Service Advisor

About the role

The Sales & Service Advisor serves as the primary contact for customers, assisting with vehicle needs, recommending solutions, and ensuring a smooth service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally in person and over the phone, using standard customer service techniques.
• Listen to customer concerns, inspect vehicles, review service history, and accurately identify service needs.
• Recommend services and communicate additional suggestions from technicians, documenting all recommendations.
• Promote sales of services, parts, and accessories by demonstrating product knowledge.
• Provide accurate quotes, update customers on service progress, and explain warranties.
• Conduct post-repair follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and track warranty and return parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old; prior experience as a Service Advisor preferred but not required.
• Professional appearance with ability to work in a process-driven environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay between $17.00 and $20.00 with uncapped commission.
