Automotive Service Advisor

About the role

The Sales and Service Advisor is responsible for promoting all products and services offered, ensuring excellent customer service, and accurately diagnosing customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally in person and via phone, documenting concerns thoroughly.
• Inspect vehicles, recommend services, and clearly communicate options and costs.
• Promote sales of services, parts, and accessories, and provide updates on service status.
• Conduct post-repair follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Accurately track returns, warranties, and parts for customers.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of behavior.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience as a Service Advisor is helpful but not required.
• Professional appearance, process-driven mindset, valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain a State Inspector License.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 70 pounds.

Working Conditions

Exposure to moderate to loud noises, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures, with necessary safety PPE. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
