Audio Visual Service Specialist

Join CTI to troubleshoot and tune up real-world AV systems across all kinds of spaces—built on platforms like Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Poly, Yealink, AMX (and more)—and deliver the kind of customer experience people remember.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer service calls for installed AV systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with:
  • Displays, projection, and video walls
  • Audio systems (DSPs, microphones, speakers, etc.)
  • Video conferencing platforms (Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, room PCs, etc.)
  • Control systems (Crestron, Extron, etc.)
• Resolve hardware, software, and configuration issues
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure all systems are operating at optimum levels
• Work with Programmers as needed to load updated files
• Customer-facing support documentation & ticketing
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience with commercial AV integration installations, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Customer service experience is a must
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, but ask the right questions when help is needed
• Eagerness to learn and readiness to tackle any situation

Qualifications

• AV/IT Networking experience (required)
• Associate's degree (preferred, but not required; experience and skill level will be considered)

• Salary: $60,000/yr - $90,000/yr (DOE)
