Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of global portfolio strategies and multi-year roadmaps to drive sustainable, profitable growth, including organic and inorganic opportunities
- Own upstream marketing and product management, ensuring alignment of portfolio decisions across functions and divisions
- Translate market dynamics, customer insights, and competitive intelligence into clear strategic priorities and actionable plans
- Partner cross-functionally to position the business for #1 or #2 market leadership across key geographies
- Collaborate with R&D to ensure disciplined, on-time, and on-budget delivery of product development programs
- Define and execute global go-to-market strategies, including product launches, pricing, and value positioning
- Lead portfolio prioritization and lifecycle management, balancing new product development, sustaining engineering, and in-market initiatives
- Drive evidence-based adoption strategies to accelerate market uptake and long-term value realization
- Optimize portfolio performance through pricing, margin expansion, COGS management, and SKU rationalization
- Ensure portfolio strategy is embedded in operating plans and long-range planning, including investment and resource allocation decisions
- Evaluate and support business development opportunities (partnerships, licensing, and M&A), including assessment and integration planning
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders to drive alignment on key strategic and operational decisions
- Owns and evolves the global portfolio strategy and 5 year roadmap for the Respiratory Health business (including inorganic options)
- Ensures portfolio strategy is reflected in operating and long-range plans, with clear implications for investment, resources, and growth tradeoffs
- Ensures cross-functional alignment from strategy through execution, including governance, prioritization, and escalation of portfolio decisions
- Evaluates and supports business development and licensing opportunities, partnering cross-functionally through assessment and integration planning
- Regularly interfaces with executive and senior leaders across regional marketing, commercial, R&D, Medical and Clinical Affairs, Quality/Regulatory, Finance, Operations, and Corporate Strategy to shape portfolio direction and execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred
- 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing and/or general management, preferably within medical devices or healthcare
- Proven success leading global portfolio strategy, including roadmap development, investment prioritization, and lifecycle management
- End-to-end experience in new product development and commercialization, from insights through launch and post-market performance
- Strong pricing and margin management expertise, including value-based pricing and profitability optimization
- Experience working in complex, matrixed global organizations and leading through influence
- Demonstrated ability to assess and support business development opportunities and translate insights into actionable plans
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, including market modeling, business cases, and ROI analysis
- Deep expertise in upstream and downstream marketing, including VOC, segmentation, positioning, and lifecycle management
- Proven people leadership with the ability to coach, develop, and lead high-performing teams
- Travel: Up to 30%

Pay
The estimated base salary for this position is $168,000 to $231,000 annually.
Schedule
Up to 30% travel
