Assistant Nurse Manager - Telemetry Unit

About the role

This is a full-time leadership position involving patient care coordination, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and data tracking. The role requires flexibility in scheduling and includes oversight of direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff hiring, training, assignments, performance evaluations, and professional development to support departmental goals.
• Participate in staffing, revenue, and expense budget planning, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
• Oversee patient care plans, ensuring they are tailored to patients' age and developmental needs, and document accordingly.
• Develop and implement collaborative care strategies based on assessments and medical treatment.
• Monitor staff productivity, conduct performance reviews, approve payroll, and handle staffing adjustments, including overtime and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure operational efficiency and support departmental objectives through leadership and communication.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational background in nursing (Diploma/Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
• 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Active RN license required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
