About the role

This role involves performing operations related to the production and inspection of bearing assemblies, including pre-assembly, assembly, preload, lubrication, final inspection, and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision ball and roller bearings using diversified hand and bench techniques.
• Perform preload and grinding duties to meet specified specifications, including measuring, tooling setup, and adjustments.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Engrave components with letters, numerals, and marks following established procedures.
• Handle washing, lubricating, and packaging of assembled bearings per customer and company requirements.
• Manage assembly tooling, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
• Support secondary assembly setup and troubleshoot hand, bench, and gauging operations.
• Disassemble, rework, rebuild, and process customer returns, coordinating with quality teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong shop math skills and quick learner of processes and gauges.
• Ability to troubleshoot gauges and machines.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Teamwork skills to meet departmental goals.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
