About the role
Senior Mechanical Assembler responsible for assembling products for COTS, military, and aerospace applications.
Responsibilities
- Rotate through multiple stations to maximize efficiency and alertness.
- Read blueprints to verify parts and ensure accurate assembly.
- Double-check connections, apply glue, conformal coating, and document discrepancies.
- Report defects or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Use various tools, instrumentation, and calibration equipment proficiently.
- Communicate with assembly line stations to maintain speed and accuracy.
- Maintain and service equipment as needed.
- Conserve resources to minimize waste.
- Assemble components accurately according to specifications.
- Adhere to ESD and FOD safety protocols.
- Cross-train across stations to enhance final product flow.
- Collaborate with supervisors to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide feedback to improve quality and efficiency.
- Monitor kit supplies and report shortages.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and mechanical skills.
