About the Role
This position involves assembling complex mechanical components for defense systems, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Accurately position parts and operate both manual and automatic equipment
- Use hand and power tools, jigs, and fixtures for assembly tasks
- Work at various workstations based on production needs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through regular housekeeping and equipment maintenance
- Identify and report operational variances as trained
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Preferred experience in manufacturing, assembly, and packaging
- Ability to read, interpret safety and operating documents fluently in English
- Physical capability to handle materials weighing 5-50 lbs
- Ability to obtain BATF approval for handling certain explosive operations
- Strong team communication skills and punctuality
- Proof of U.S. Person status due to export control laws
