About the role
As the Area Vice President of Business Development, you will lead strategic initiatives to expand our market share and drive revenue growth across the region. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing business development plans that align with company goals.Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to increase market share and revenue.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and relationship building.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and customer needs.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Prepare and present proposals to clients, securing new business and maintaining existing relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
