Vice President of Business Development

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President of Business Development for our team to be an innovator. HCA Healthcare partners with Harvard Pilgrim Institute and the CDC to use our data from more than 26 million patient encounters each year to impact the industry.

Responsibilities

• Direction, business development, marketing physician relations, and community outreach
• Direct all departments and financial functions connected with the day-to-day management of the entity
• Consult with medical staff members and remain fully informed regarding the views of the medical staff as to the quality of medical practice and patient care within the dedicated service lines
• Oversee the planning, control, and effective utilization of the physical, financial and human resources of the service lines
• Maintain awareness of the current and potential competitive forces in the marketplace and ensure that the entity has an active and continuous marketing plan that meets the overall strategic objectives
• Ensure that all legal and statutory requirements are met for the operation of the service lines
• Conduct competitor and market analysis

Qualifications

• Education/Licensure/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration required. Master's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration preferred. A minimum of four(4) years of experience in overseeing the operations of similar services required.
