Arcade Mechanic Manager

About the role

The Facility Manager at our new family entertainment facility at Colorado Mills, Lakewood, oversees, manages, and maintains mechanical/electronic amusement arcade equipment. They also assist with planning and budgeting for repairs/upgrades and perform administrative, logistic, or other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provides tasks to team depending on facility conditions including bowling, arcade, and Spo-Cha machines.
• Follows up to complete assigned work.
• Ensures facility equipment is serviced and maintained at the highest level of operating proficiency.
• Identifies and suggests repairs/replacements of malfunctioning equipment to the General or Sr. General Manager for approval.
• Trains other mechanics in safety procedures and standards of operation for all equipment, building maintenance, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensures equipment operational compliance with laws and policies, including OSHA safety practices and procedures.
• Responds to error calls for any issues with bowling, Spo-Cha, or arcade machines.
• Conducts inventory on all facility equipment including bowling, arcade, and Spo-Cha related items.
• Keeps a clean and organized workshop.
• Manages installation, maintenance, and repairs of both mechanical and electronic issues in arcade machines.
• Manages transportation of machines and ensures they are assembled using appropriate tools.
• Conducts maintenance and repairs on arcade machines, and other general facility areas.
• Performs other Facility maintenance and repair tasks.
• Identifies most common problems with components such as controls and audio systems.
• Conducts alcohol and age restriction control in accordance with company policies.
• Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
• Reports all irregular issues and problems to general management for solution.
• Maintains good communication with all employees and outside contacts.
• Complies and maintains confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Strong sense of customer service and interpersonal skills, including high integrity and respect for everyone.
• Solid communication, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation for diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.).
